About the designer

Mark Jan Meerdink was educated as a contemporary sculptor (at Ateliers '63). He made graphic designs in the 1990’s (for Morning Glory, Stijl&Klasse, Moonshine LMC and Putamadre!). From 1997 he worked as an art director. (for Amstel, Sony and adidas)
 
In 2002 Meerdink decided to combine graphic design with his first love: construction, assembly and real material. He went back to the workshop, to concentrate on designing tangible objects.
 
Meerdink received a 2-year grant from FBKVB to develop new designs and prototypes.  This is where Vider comes from.

Custom designs

Mark Jan Meerdink makes the one-off custom Viders for Winoldi (think 6m wide Ferrari-red or Heineken-green screens).
You can also commission other designs, from 3D wallpaper to steel signs and one-off wall pieces.
